According to a report released by DomainTools, nearly a quarter of larger organizations who have experienced a breach within the past twelve months have no clue how hackers infiltrated their IT environment.
The majority of these companies could not spot the breach or stop the breach since 46 percent of all organizations surveyed said they did not have threat intelligence solutions in place to detect intrusions.
The reasons varied as to why no threat intelligence solutions were installed in these companies IT environments. The main reason being that ‘cyber threats we have experienced have not been serious enough.’
